Cookies and browser storage
Only what the service needs today.
Collabory currently uses strictly necessary cookies and browser storage for authentication, security, preferences, and the account flow. No optional analytics or marketing cookies are currently loaded.

Why there is no consent banner
Strictly necessary technologies do not depend on optional cookie consent because the requested service cannot operate securely without them. If Collabory later introduces optional analytics or marketing technologies, they must remain off until the required choice has been collected, and this page will be updated before use.
Current technologies
| Name or category | Storage | Purpose | Typical duration |
|---|---|---|---|
collabory_session | HTTP-only cookie | Signed account session and access control. | Up to 7 days, or until sign-out/revocation. |
collabory_oauth | HTTP-only cookie | Protects the Google sign-in round trip and preserves signup intent. | 10 minutes. |
| Password recovery and email-change state | HTTP-only cookies | Protects short-lived recovery or email-change verification. | 10 minutes. |
collabory_billing_choice | First-party cookie | Remembers the plan and billing interval you selected while moving into account setup. | 30 days. |
| Signup role and scroll restoration | Session storage | Preserves the creator/brand choice and restores navigation state in the current tab. | Until the tab or browser session ends. |
| Session identity mirror | Session storage | Keeps limited account interface state available in the current tab. The signed HTTP-only cookie remains the authoritative session. | Until sign-out or the tab/browser session ends. |
| Workspace UI state | Page memory | Temporarily renders deals, campaigns, connections, workspace data, and admin metrics returned by the server. These payloads are not written to persistent browser storage. | Until reload, navigation that unloads the page, sign-out, or account change. |
| Rate-limit and authenticated presence records | Server-side | Prevents abuse and provides a short aggregated operational view for authorized administrators. Anonymous visitors are not assigned a presence cookie. | Presence leaves the live window after 90 seconds; security retention follows the applicable rate-limit window and operational need. |
